A Safe Container is a somatic movement and yoga-based group offering a grounded, supportive space to explore, process, and move through specific emotions. Each week centers on a different trauma-processing theme, using movement, breath, and somatic awareness to support nervous system regulation and emotional integration. Wednesdays for 8 weeks from 5:30–7:00 PM, starting September 30th. Email or call to register. Space is limited and participants are asked to attend all sessions.

Restorative Yoga + Somatic Sunday Reset is a weekly restorative yoga and somatic practice designed to support nervous system regulation, deep rest, and embodied awareness. This gentle, trauma-informed class uses supported restorative postures, breath, and somatic awareness to help the body unwind and reset at the end of the week. No yoga experience is needed. Limited to five participants each week.‍ ‍Sundays, 6:45-7:45 PM. Email or call to register.

Somatic Therapy

At Boston Somatic Therapy Collective, we support nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, trauma healing and embodied connection through integrative psychotherapy and somatic practices.

Specialties include support for those experiencing:

  • Chronic stress, trauma, overwhelm, burnout, perfectionism, and nervous system dysregulation

  • Life transitions, including perinatal experiences, identity shifts, and career or academic changes

  • Feelings of disconnect or emotional numbness

  • Trauma, chronic adaptation, and survival-based patterns

  • Burnout from caregiving and other helping professions

  • Immigration, cultural displacement, and marginalization-related stress

Therapy that works with the body, not just the mind.

Our approach integrates psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing®, EMDR, yoga, and nervous system regulation to support meaningful and sustainable change.

Rather than focusing only on insight or symptom management, we explore how stress, emotion, and protective patterns live in the body and how greater awareness and regulation can create lasting shifts in how you feel and function.

Sessions are collaborative, paced with care, and tailored to your needs. The goal is not to “fix” you, but to expand your capacity for grounding, resilience, and connection.

Yoga & Embodiment Sessions

These integrative sessions combine restorative yoga, Somatic Experiencing® principles, breathwork, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation to support stress recovery, resilience, and reconnection to the body.

Designed for individuals navigating chronic stress, burnout, emotional exhaustion, or nervous system overwhelm, this work offers a slower, more embodied approach to healing that goes beyond traditional talk therapy or performance-based movement.

Rather than focusing on productivity or pushing through, sessions emphasize restoration, regulation, body awareness, and creating greater capacity for ease and connection in daily life.

Sessions may include:

  • Restorative movement and yoga-based practices

  • Nervous system regulation support

  • Somatic Experiencing® techniques

  • Breath and mobility practices

  • Grounding and embodiment exercises

  • Music and dance
