Somatic Experiencing® is a gentle, body-centered approach designed to help release deeply held stress and tension from the nervous system. Developed by Peter A. Levine, it supports the body in resolving stuck fight, flight, or freeze responses while building greater presence, resilience, and emotional balance.
This work can be done on its own or as a part of an integrative therapy. In-person and online sessions offered.

Yoga therapy draws from foundational elements of hatha yoga, incorporating mindful movement, breath awareness, and body-based practices to support healing and self-connection. Approaches such as Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) adapt traditional yoga practices to emphasize choice, empowerment, and a more supportive relationship with the body. Yoga therapy can be integrated into individual therapy sessions or practiced as its own therapeutic approach.
-
EMDR is a therapeutic approach that helps reduce the emotional distress connected to traumatic memories. EMDR supports the brain in reprocessing difficult experiences through guided eye movements and other forms of bilateral sensory stimulation.

Relational talk therapy focuses on the role of healthy, supportive relationships in your overall well-being. It explores how past experiences, along with social and cultural influences, shape how you connect with others today. Sessions blend traditional talk therapy with skill-building, psychoeducation, and somatic practices.

Now recruiting! Somatic therapy processing groups offer a supportive space to explore emotions through the body. Using gentle, body-based practices and group reflection, participants build awareness, regulation, and deeper connection to themselves and others. Email for more details.
We aim to provide reasonable accommodations while maintaining group safety, confidentiality, and access for all participants. Some requests may not be feasible in a group setting, and we can explore alternative ways to support your needs.

Jessica’s Session Fees:
All standard individual therapy sessions are $275 for 50 minutes.
Intern Session Fees:
To support greater access to therapy within our practice, we offer sessions with our highly trained clinical interns at a reduced rate:
Sliding scale: $50-100 for 50 minutes
Our interns work closely under supervision and bring fresh perspectives, strong clinical training, and compassionate presence to each session. This option allows clients to receive high-quality, trauma-informed care at a more accessible price while benefiting from the depth of support our practice provides.
Payment Information
Payment is due at the time of each session. We accept major credit cards, as well as HSA and FSA payment options.
Many clients choose not to involve insurance. This allows us the freedom to work outside of mental health diagnostic codes, which insurance companies require. Without using insurance, we can more specifically focus on your presenting concerns and deepen the somatic work. Insurance companies may also request notes, which may compromise your confidentiality.
Insurance & Reimbursement
We are an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Upon request, we can provide a monthly superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your plan’s out-of-network benefits. To learn more about this, please call your insurance company for an explanation of benefits. Check out this guide for more information.
Cancellation Policy
Because your session time is reserved exclusively for you, cancellations or rescheduling require 24 hours’ notice. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are billed at the full session rate.
What to Expect in Session
Once you schedule your first appointment by phone or email, the first few sessions are focused on getting settled and building a sense of comfort and connection, either virtually or in person. We’ll spend time exploring what brings you to therapy, discussing your goals, and answering any questions you may have about the process.
From there, we’ll create a collaborative treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and experiences. Sessions may include a blend of talk therapy, Somatic Experiencing®, yoga therapy, and EMDR, depending on your goals and what feels most supportive for you. Treatment plans include clear goals while also allowing space for new insights and experiences that may emerge throughout the work.
Somatic Experiencing®
Somatic Experiencing® is a gentle, body based approach that helps increase awareness of nervous system patterns and release held stress over time. Sessions may include grounding practices, breathwork, body awareness, and gentle movement to support greater balance and regulation. Techniques such as titration help approach difficult sensations in small, manageable steps, while pendulation supports moving between states of activation and calm. The focus is not on reliving overwhelming experiences, but on helping your body develop a greater sense of safety, resilience, and connection.
EMDR Therapy
EMDR therapy helps the brain process distressing experiences in a safe and structured way. During sessions, you may focus on a specific memory, along with related thoughts, emotions, and body sensations. While bringing the experience to mind, you’ll follow guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, such as tapping or sound. After each set, you’ll notice any shifts in thoughts, emotions, images, or beliefs connected to the experience. The process continues gradually until the memory feels less emotionally intense. You remain in control throughout the session and can pause or stop at any time.
